Meliza Fermin

Senior/Lead Compositor & Lead Digital Matte Painter

Meliza Fermin is an Emmy Award-winning visual effects professional, with a career spanning over two decades in the television and film industries. Throughout her illustrious career, Fermin has held pivotal roles as both a lead digital matte painter and senior compositor at companies including Stargate Studios, FuseFX, Encore VFX, Method Studios, Powerhouse VFX, and Mavericks VFX. 


Her expertise extends beyond artistic prowess, as she has played a key role in developing pipeline tools that streamline workflow processes, ensuring seamless transitions from digital matte painting to projected setups for compositors. 


In her downtime, she finds solace in returning to her roots, immersing herself in fine arts, studying nature, and creating oil paintings.
